The Keiller Design Bureau is a screenprinted poster company conceived, gestated and birthed by graphic designer/pop art enthusiast Kris Keiller.
A graduate of Dundee’s Duncan of Jordanstone art school, Kris began designing and screenprinting posters for the purpose of promoting his alternative rock club night, The Beartrap, in 2008.
Said posters quickly became more popular than said club night and were often stolen shortly after being publically posted. Never one to miss a trick, Kris’ cynical marketing brain clicked into action and spotted an unmet local demand for high quality, tastefully designed prints.
Thus it came to pass that The KDB now specialises in small runs of hand numbered posters for promotion of and/or sale at rock shows. Examples of these can be viewed by clicking the portfolio tab above.
The KDB currently operates thanks to the excellent facilities of Dundee Contemporary Arts print studio.
